Slither is a 2006 horror/comedy written and directed by a name you might have heard of: James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy). Starring the fantastic Nathan Fillion and Michael Rooker (and a solid performance from Elizabeth Banks), this is the story of a small town that is taken over by alien slugs, which infest the residents and turn them into…well an interesting sort of zombie. Lots of laughs, some legit scary moments, gore galore, and a surprisingly fun story for a horror comedy. It’s just one of those movies that I really enjoy watching when I’m in the mood for that genre, and I can definitely recommend a watch.
