The Indian drama that was a media darling on its way in winning 8 Oscars, including Best Picture, this is the story of a boy from the Mumbai slums who is one question away from winning the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He’s accused of cheating due to his low caste, and chronicles how his life has led to him knowing answers to various questions along the way. Very good movie, using great cinematography, solid acting, a fantastic score, and excellent color work to tell an intriguing tale. Not for casual movie fans, but definitely worth the awards.
