Movie Review: Knight and Day (2010)

3.5/5 Reviewed July 31, 2016 Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in a popcorn-flick action movie. Pretty generic “superspy meets random person and has to have them tag along on absurd adventure while ambiguity over who is good vs bad clouds things.” This is one of those you don’t spend a ton of time analyzing, becauseContinue reading “Movie Review: Knight and Day (2010)”

Movie Review: A Night at the Opera (1935)

4.5/5 Reviewed July 30, 2016 Ah, the classics. Considered one of the top 100 movies of all time and a comedic masterpiece by the Marx Brothers, I can honestly say this one still stands up. The original versionContinue reading “Movie Review: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)”

Movie Review: Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016)

Reviewed July 23, 2016 Modern note: This is the first “modern” review I did after many random things, and from here on reviews are more formalized rather than “i saw this movie and liked it, go see it” posts. I want to say up front that I did not expect to enjoy this movie, mainlyContinue reading “Movie Review: Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016)”

Movie Review: Star Trek Beyond (2016)

3.75/5 Reviewed July 23, 2016 Disclaimer, this movie didn’t have a review number at the time so this is a modern one Justin Lin (of Fast and Furious series fame) takes over the helm and it shows. Simon Pegg co-wrote the script, which shows in some of the care that characters and throwbacks receive. Overall,Continue reading “Movie Review: Star Trek Beyond (2016)”
